When submitting a guest post or blog to our website, you agree to the terms contained herein. All capitalized terms have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service and all provisions of the Terms of Service are incorporated in full.

1. Topics. Ambitious Writers Society (“AWS”) welcomes guest posts on topics that would interest or help new, aspiring and/or experienced professional writers. Topics related but not limited to writing techniques, writing specialities, marketing tips, tools for writers, writer hot topics, copywriting, content creation, social media, branding, running a writing business and FAQs. We prioritize articles that provide actionable tips, insights, and original perspectives on these topics.

2. Length and Format. The length of your post should be between 1000-3000 words. We reserve the right to edit, shorten, or add to articles as needed. Your post should be well-written and properly structured with headings, subheadings, good readability and optimized for SEO as much as possible.

3. Links. We encourage you to include links in your post, but please ensure they are relevant and add value to the content. Please do not include affiliate links or links to low-quality sites or spam. Any article containing such links or other malicious links will result in termination of your license to use our website. We reserve the right to seek remedies in any court of competent jurisdiction for any harm caused by your article to our users.

4. Author Bio. Please include a short author bio (50-100 words) at the end of your post, as well as an optional headshot and a link to your website or social media profile.

5. Promotion. We may promote your post on our social media channels and email campaigns, and we encourage you to do the same where applicable. Please feel free to share the article with your audience, clients, and prospective clients. Feel free to screenshot your article for your own writer’s portfolio for proof of samples and/or experience.

6. Representations. As a guest writer submitting content to our website, we require that you agree to the following terms:

a. Ownership. By submitting your work to us, you acknowledge and agree that you are the original owner of the content and have the right to assign all rights in the work to our website. You agree that our website shall be the new sole owner of the content and all rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and intellectual property rights. You acknowledge that you will not use the content elsewhere without our express written consent.

b. Non-infringement. You represent and warrant that your work does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. You further represent and warrant that your work does not contain any defamatory or libelous material, or otherwise violate any applicable laws or regulations.

c. License: By submitting your work to us, you grant our website a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display the content in any form, medium, or technology now known or later developed. This license includes the right to sublicense, assign, and transfer the content to third parties.

d. Editing. Our website reserves the right to edit your work for grammar, spelling, and clarity, and to make any necessary changes to conform to our editorial style and tone.

e. No Joint Venture or Expectation of Profit. You acknowledge and agree that providing a blog post to our website does not create a joint venture or partnership between you and Touchpoint (doing business as AWS). Furthermore, you agree that you have no expectation of profit from the guest blog or any revenue that may be generated from its publication on our website.

f. No Guarantee of Publication. Our website does not guarantee that any submitted guest blogs will be published on our website. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content for any reason at any time without notice. By submitting a guest blog to our website, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

7. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless our website, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, arising out of or in connection with your guest blog submission, including but not limited to any claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or violation of any rights of privacy or publicity. In the event that our website or Touchpoint is sued as a result of your guest blog submission, you agree to defend us against such claims and to bear all costs and damages associated with such claims, including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. You agree to cooperate fully with us in the defense of any such claims and to promptly notify us of any such claims. You acknowledge and agree that this Section 8 is a fundamental basis of Touchpoint’s bargain hereunder and Touchpoint would not enter into this agreement without this nor would it allow any guest writing submissions.

8. Submission. To submit your blog post, please fill out our guest posting intake form. You will be guided through the process through email correspondence with our team. Please allow up to 30 days for our team to provide initial acceptance or rejection of your submission.

  1. If accepted, we will post it and add an author bio/link. There may be some minor adjustments to the writing. Upon AWS accepting your article, you grant AWS the full right to use your post for marketing purposes on social media, email marketing, within our courses and on digital ads.

  2. If rejected, we will offer some suggestions as to how to make it better. The writer has a chance to resubmit 2 more times (for 3 total reviews by AWS per post).
